Our key focal points

Each year the Rotary Club of Wellington and its associated charitable entities make grants worth many hundreds of thousands of dollars to worthwhile projects in the region, nationally and internationally. Each year RCW engages in a major joint-fundraising project with iconic Wellington Department Store, Kirkcaldie & Stains. Beneficiaries so far have been the animal hospital at Wellington Zoo, The Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation. Each year RCW organises the very successful Jumbo Tennis Event to raise funds for Junior Tennis in Wellington and in 2010 the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research. A new fundraising event is the very successful Vintage and Classic Car Day to raise funds for Wellington Free Ambulance.
