Beautiful book available for members

Monday, 30 August 2010

A wonderful book about the early years of Rotary, and the great expedition to Asia and the Pacific (including New Zealand) to charter new Rotary clubs is available to members on application.

The book, The Life and Times of James and Lillian Davison in Rotary International, is written by Red Deer Rotary Club member Robert Lampard MD. It charts the extraordinary travels of a couple who were founding members of Rotary and who decided to spread the word around Asia and the Pacific.

Members who would like to read this great history of the early days of our Rotary organisation can borrow the book from Club Archivist and Historian, Brian McKeon.
