Request for an internship in Wellington Share with Facebook

Saturday, 14 January 2012

Every so often we receive a request from a member of the Rotary community which exemplifies the international connections and the ambitions of Rotary. One such was the email below. If you can help please contact Natalie direct.

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

Through my stepfather I had the chance to get to know the work of Rotary. The club he is a member of organizes different events throughout the year and has always fascinated me with the wide range of ideas and ambition carried by the members. Next to the events the club also supports two exchange students from France and Taiwan which gave me the idea to write to you.

My name is Natalie Cwiertnia, I am 24 years old and currently enrolled at the University of Trier/Germany studying economics. I will finish my bachelor’s degree by the end of this February and my Masters program does not start before September of this year. I would like to use the time in between to travel, meet new people, learn about different cultures and gain more experience in the working world.

Since it has always been a dream of mine to live in New Zealand and to experience the country and the people not only as a short time tourist I am currently searching for an internship in Wellington/ New Zealand.

My majors at University are Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship and Marketing, Trade & Innovation from which I would love to convert my theoretical knowledge to a company or organization. I have already completed a few internships in different branches and am sure that I could also benefit the company or organization.

I am a confident individual who enjoys creating new relationships with a multitude of different people from a broad range of cultures and ages. I am a team player, who has experience working in various different situations, both stressful and hard. I work well under pressure and I am always prepared to take on new challenges whilst learning new things, and sharing knowledge along the way. I am a conscientious, patient person who always has a smile to share.

If you believe that there is a company or organization in or around Wellington that is looking for a young, motivated person I would happily send you my CV or any information you need.

I would also be more than happy to support your club during the time I am in New Zealand and to show you some of my culture.

Thank you in advance,
