Whisky Evening
Thursday, 19 August 2010Well it was Thirsty Third Thursday with a difference last night with the introduction of the Wicked Wellesley Whisky night.
There was a good turnout of about 20 club members, partners, friends, other Rotary club members and Nick’s Mum!
Alistair took us on a journey of Scotland’s whisky making with each of the whiskys tasted and the only whisky to carry the Royal Warrant of HRH, Prince Charles,
Laphroaig was voted the best of the night by our whisky tasters.
Stuart was a fine host although not prepared to leave the whisky on the bar for everyone to help themselves to.
Lively discussion ensued and a number of people stayed on for dinner to top off a great evening.
